Registration dates for the 2008 are set.
ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 23RD.  NO LATE REGISTRATIONS!

The scheduled registrations for baseball and girls softball for 2008 have been scheduled.  Here is a list of the dates:

OK folks, time for another baseball season.  You can show up at a registration date (listed above) and do it all in person, or you can do it all at home.  Simply print out a Registration Form for Baseball or Softball, fill it out completely, stick in an envelope with a check made out to R.W. Clark Youth Baseball League and send it on it's way to the following address.

There have been some changes to our By-Laws this year.  The first most important change is how we are handling later registrations this year.  If you are a late signup, you will only be added to a team on an as-needed basis.  Even if you were on a team last year and wish to rejoin that team.  Sign up on time. 

 

Just a couple of notes about the registration this year.  We have coined this year as "Back to Baseball Basics".  What does that mean?  It means we are going to spend our time and money playing baseball.  There will be only one League Fundraiser this year and that will be the Cash Bash (tentatively scheduled for March 29th.)  In order to have just this one fundraiser we had to do two things: first we had to fund the League some other way, and that was accomplished by raising the fees for registration...not a lot, but enough to make a dent.  Second, we had to cut some of our expenses.  There will be no custom uniforms this year.  The league will decide on a standard uniform for each division, and no team will be allowed to deviate from that.  This will allow us to keep the costs down for the League (we always ended up paying for uniform extras) and make it much easier for the League to order and pay for the uniforms (something that the League Officers really need).  Less time tracking who owes what to whom...more time to teach our kids how to be better ball players.  Back to Baseball Basics.  PLEASE help the League to make the Cash Bash a success.  It's the only fundraiser this year, so we need to make it work for us.  Sell the tickets, attend that night....and we will all benefit.
