We will be collecting the money for the cash bash tickets
this Tuesday October 7th, 2008 at the Oliver Field under the pavilion (or in the
concession stand if its cold) from 7:00 - 8:00. If you need a ticket we
will also be selling them at that time. Coaches, please try your best to only turn in money...no tickets.
If you need a ticket or a group of tickets you can contact Trevor at
724-309-5832.
THANKS!

We will be having a second cash bash on October 11, 2008
at Divito Park.
We are partnering with Laurel Highlands Baseball Team/Boosters and on this one
and are looking to sell 1,000 tickets (as opposed to 2,000 that we normally do).
Coaches and parents..please contact a League officer if you can sell some of
these tickets. Call Trevor at 724-309-5832 if you can sell some tickets. Price will be $ 30.00 for a chance at $1,000.00 every 15
minutes with $4,000.00 as the grand prize at the end of the night. We are
trying to get some funds together to get the infield dirt on the Pony field and
to purchase protective gear for the tball teams for next year (chest protectors
and face cages for the pitchers) and to have some funds to start next year.
With all of the rain that we had this year, our concession stand sales were down
and umpire fees were up (we pay if they show up). We appreciate your help
with this one.
Congratulations to the 8 year old Tournament Team
on winning another tournament. They recently won the

Keep it Clean!!!!
All teams have garbage duty this
year. The remaining schedule is
here. You are
responsible for the entire week for the dates shown. You need to
coordinate with the other head coach sharing the duty with you to be sure that
all trash is taken out AND picked up.
Uniform and Team
Sponsorship
Coaches, if you owe for team sponsorship to the league or
for uniform extras, please get these to the league ASAP. We are mean and
lean this year and we need the money to pay the uniform company...NOW. A
reminder that you all signed a
Coaches
Financial Responsibility Waiver this year.

10 Year Olds Champs at Masontown Tournament
Our 10 year old tournament team took the championship at the Masontown Tournament this past weekend. Here is a picture of the team with their trophies.
8 Year Olds Draw First Blood!!
Although the 8 year olds have been unable to have tryouts for this years tournament team, the 7 year olds from last year entered an 8 year old tournament this weekend and continued to go undefeated. R. W. Clark would like to thank the teams from Kiski, East Allegheny, and Deer Lakes for making the Kiski Tournament a great Holiday weekend. Here is a picture of a happy group of kids and coaches. WAY TO GO GUYS!!!

PONY FIELD GETS CORRALLED
The fencing company was in and out...man can they put some
fence in fast. The fence is up on the new
Pony Field...you can see it all
taking shape now folks. We were able to make the dimensions a bit larger
than previously thought, so if you want to hit one out of this field you had
better be eating your Wheaties and bring some serious lumber to the
plate...cause from home plate to center is a haul... some 345 feet.

You think you're busy?? Try keeping up with the
fields at R.W. Clark. Craig McKee has been busy and needs our help to get
everything in shape for this season. Check out his requests
here.
Welcome to the R.W. Clark Youth Baseball League's Home on the Web.
Welcome to The R.W. Clark Youth Baseball web site. As you may have heard, or experienced already, the league will be conducting business a little differently AGAIN this year. We are welcoming everyone to be a part of the league. Instead of having the league run by a few, we want to open it up to anyone that is interested. What does that mean? It means that no matter what your expertise, no matter what your interest, we have a place for you. A place where you can help make a difference. Check out the variety of committees that we are developing here. By running the league with the input and help of all of you, we can all focus our attention and energies on getting things done. We are also listing all of the League information on this site. As we get schedules together, you will be able to check them through this site. All of our meeting notes are here. The league bylaws and rules are here.
We will also be using this site to keep you all informed on upcoming events that we have planned. You can check a short list of those here. If it has to do with the League, you will be able to find the information on this site. If you see errors or old information, just drop the Web Guy a note at webguy@rwclarkbaseball.com.
If you have any questions, or any suggestions,
please contact the League at
info@rwclarkbaseball.com or a League Officer here.
