One of
JetHeat's other well
known applications is ground thawing.
JetHeat can remove
frost like no other heater! With
JetHeat, the high
volume and high pressure warm air will thaw and remove
moisture from the soil at high rates. Under most
conditions, JetHeat will thaw an area of 4,000 square feet
with one foot of frost in 24 hours at a fraction of the
cost of hydronic/boiler systems.

JetHeat being used to
thaw 24" of frost. A 40' x 100' sheet of re-enforced
plastic and 70 weights, creates a heated dome that
concentrates the warm air to the ground. The air
temperature inside the heated dome exceeds 90° F with the
outside temperature at 5° F.
Note:
JetHeat gt550 units
will deliver more than 15" WC pressure. This pressure will
lift more than 288,000 pounds. Naturally, some air must be
released to allow our 3,750 pounds of weights to remain in
place.
