Lost Animal Hints
If
your pet is lost, please go down our checklist to have the best chance of
relocating your pet.

Have
this information available:
-
Is the
animal micro-chipped or has any identification such as collar, tags, or a
tattoo.

A
description of your pet, color, markings, sex, and age.

When and where
was the animal last seen? Be sure to pass this information on to all of the
above.

A poster with
a picture and description of the pet can be made and distributed to all bulletin
boards of nearby businesses including the veterinary clinic and Paw Prints.
Take fliers to local schools and have them posted in the teachers’ lounge and/or
office if possible.

neighbors and search the area where it was last seen. If possible, hand out
fliers. Schools and businesses will often keep a good look out for lost
animals.
