area offers the following:

nearby you will find the CAMBA bike trail system and a fun-to-hike
forest trail system.

Spider Lake is a CLASS A Musky lake and offers wonderful fishing opportunities
along with unique wilderness character and islands suitable for picnicking. Panfish
are plentiful on this lake as well.
- The
beautiful Spider Lake Golf Course is located nearby as well.
- Tamarack
Lodge is located on the Spider Chain of Lakes that does have some boating
restrictions. Water skiing is permitted only between the hours of
11 am and 3 pm.
- Big
Spider Lake is part of a chain of additional lakes - Clear, Fawn, North, and
Little Spider providing for ample exploration opportunities if desired. The
Spider Chain consists of 5 lakes, is 1,500 acres in size and boasts over 65
miles of picturesque shoreline. The lakes are spring-fed and free from bloom
offering excellent swimming opportunities. An irregular shoreline, several
peninsulas and plentiful islands, make it possible to fish or simply relax in
sheltered, calm waters. The shoreline and islands are densely wooded with
hardwoods and pine trees, providing a true Northwoods setting and year
long beauty.
