Troop & Crew Activity Calendar

Parents are always welcome to help with Troop meetings and are encouraged to participate in activity planning.  Planning is done at Troop Committee Meetings.  The Troop Committee is made up of interested parents as well as scouts elected as Patrol Leaders and Senior Patrol Leaders.  The Troop Committee meets on the third Monday of odd numbered months.

In addition to helping with planning, the Troop always needs adult help on camping trips and to carpool for our outdoor activities.  Look at the schedule and plan to go on a outing with our troop.  At worst it will be a great learning and bonding experience, at best it will be an opportunity to share an activity of a lifetime with your scout.

Parents please make special note the Court of Honor dates.  These are meetings when your son will be recognized for their recent accomplishments in scouting.  Parents, siblings and grandparents should be sure to attend.  A Court of Honor is our chance to give scouts the recognition they have earned and deserve.

Troop Meetings are held at the Wells Community Boys and Girls Club.

Roundtable meetings are district level meetings held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on the north side of Bluffton.  This meeting is for registered Troop Leaders (Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters) however any interested adults in the Troop are encouraged to attend.  An Order of the Arrow meeting is held in conjunction with this meeting and youth members of the OA are encouraged to attend this meeting to keep up to date on the activities of the OA.

Summer Camp is a week long camping experience when young scouts can complete many rank advancement requirements and older scouts can work on Merit Badges as well as service projects for the camp.  We always need adult volunteers to go camping and especially for this week long activity.
